Finally, we will arrive at Watson Lake "Gateway to the Yukon!"

Days 9 through 12 -- July 8 to July 11 ... Fairbanks? Prudhoe Bay? Homer? Here are some ideas

There is Moki Dugway… an absolutely spectacular gravel road descending several hundred feet with 5 MPH switchbacks. About 6 miles north of Mexican Hat on Hwy 261, this is a 1100 ft drop, the top 2/3rds of the switch back road is unpaved, ecommended speed is 5 mph, if you go faster the motorcycle starts shuddering and you lose control. From the top, you can see Valley of the gods and you can see Monument Valley in the distance. This makes it worthwhile. We will discuss an alternate route for those who rather take a paved road. What I would like to do is to go to the bottom first, videotaping with a helmet camera, then videotape the rest of you coming down.
