Why go? Amongst all the answers are I finally have time to go and see areas I have never seen before. The time to do something is when you can still do it physically and enjoy the roses.
My background is from Texas and Oklahoma where I graduated and joined the Army. Over 4 years later I resigned and went back to school to get a step ahead in a job search. I got into plastics and narrowed that down a bit to additives and colors for plastics. I still do a bit in the market but am basically under the direction of my wife. After trips to Italy and Nova Scotia she has elected to not ride in back any more so I am on my own for the trip.
I will be joining in Memphis and then when the group heads back I am going to Prince Rupert for the ferry to Juneau and then another ferry to Anchorage. After that I will be heading through Denali to Fairbanks and then back down through Canada finally ending up in Nipigon before turning south through Flint and back to East Tn.
