Mike Tuccelli from St. Augustine, Florida

Mike teaches the "World's Most Exciting Foreign Language" (American Sign Language) at the University of Florida in Gainesville where he twice was named Teacher of the Year.  He has been commuting to Gainesville (for the first several years, from both Jacksonville and St. Augustine) for the past 27 years via motorcycle, with the current commute 140 miles.   He also drives 280 miles to an incredible church in Palm Bay, Florida each Sunday.

His 2005 Gold Wing just passed 162,000 trouble-free miles.

For "relaxation" after the school year is over every year, he takes a jaunt up to Alaska, bringing enthusiastic bikers with him.

He's 63 years old but if he is like his Dad (almost 96 and still walks 2 miles daily and rides his Honda daily), he will still be heading up to Alaska past the year 2045 and hopes you will try to keep up with him in a future trip!

This was in 2003 (drove this Silver Wing to Alaska four times!

This was in 2009 (drove this Gold Wing to Alaska four times!

This is Mike with his Dad.
